Been a competitive swimmer since 2000, and has participated in several district, state, national and international swimming competitions and won over 300 medals.

Won 3 state awards for excellence in swimming-

Ekalavya award for the year 2010.

Karnataka Olympic association award for the year 2010.

Kempegowda award (ward level) for the year 2010.

Declared as Individual Champion for 4 times in various national championships.

MAJOR SWIMMING ACHIEVEMENTS

First Indian women to break the 30.00 second barrier in 50 meter Butterfly.
Participated in 13th FINA world swimming championship held at Rome, Italy in 2009.
Held the Best Indian performance 2009, in 50 meter Butterfly Swimming event -00.29.01sec from 2009-2017.
Won 2 gold medals swimming events at South Asian games, Dhaka, Bangladesh-2010 with new meet record.
Semi-finalist at the ‘commonwealth games held at Delhi 2010’.
