Pain around Elbow Due To Excessive Use
Lateral Aspect of Elbow Pain: Tennis Elbow
Medial Aspect of Elbow Pain: Glofer’s Elbow
Cause: Due To Excessive Use – Muscle Attachment Got Injuries Repetitively (Micro Trauma) And Fails To Heal Completely So It Causes Fibrosis (Degeneration)
Symptoms: Pain, Swelling, Redness And Unable To Lift The Weights
Diagnosis: Clinical / USG / MRI
Treatment:
- REST, ICE And NSAIDS
- Braces
- PRP Injection
Physiotherapy:
- Modalities – USG / ESWD/ TENS
- Stretching Exercises
- Eccentric Loading Of Muscles (Strengthening)
In Refractory Cases – Release of Muscles
